Privacy at Tosynch
Tosynch is a friends-only app for meeting up with people you already
know. Here's what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't) do with it — written to
be read, not to cover ourselves legally. If anything's unclear, email
hello@tosynch.com
and a real person will answer.
What we collect
- Your name and email, when you sign up — or from Google, if you sign in with Google.
- Your city and timezone, so meeting times show correctly.
- A short bio, if you write one.
- Your interests, if you add them — used only to help you and your friends find things to do together.
- Your meetings and connections — who you're meeting, when, and the friends you're connected to.
We don't ask for anything we don't need.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't show ads, and we don't track you for advertising.
- We don't run analytics or third-party trackers. Nothing is watching what you do.
- We don't have public profiles. Strangers can't find you or see your information — only people you've connected with can see you're connected.
Who we share it with
To run the app, we rely on two services:
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google. They handle sign-in and pass us your name and email.
- Resend — sends the emails Tosynch sends you (invites, reminders, notifications).
We share only what these services need. Nobody else gets your data.
Where it's stored
Your data lives on our own server in the United States. Our server keeps
standard access logs (including IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account anytime from your profile — it permanently
removes your account, meetings, and connections. No emails, no waiting.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page. If we ever add
something like analytics, we'll say so here first.
